(they really do!)
Please note that these clips do not and cannot represent the amp's tone accurately since there are so many constants that affect the recorded tone from the speaker cabinet to your computer speakers.
The amp tone actually sounds thousands of times better if heard live. These are here only to give you a hint of what the amp actually sounds like. Sort of like the roasting garlic aroma coming from the kitchen that sits around the roast. Sorry, vegetarians, I really do not have a more appropriate example for you... :-)

V18 watt Head
Social bookmark to:
The oh-so-craved and famed (or infamous) V18 watt head that created so many fans continent and world-wide. As reviewed in the Vintage Guitar or Guitar Player magazines the Gabriel V18 stands out as a distinct British-style class "A" all-tubed guitar amp for its characteristic tonal spectrum and unbelievable overdrive resurrected from the Golden Era of tone. No, it is not a cheap amp, but every penny is worth its value in this high-end amp.
Keeps you sane by producing volumes that are real-world, tones that have the fattest, rich, touch-sensitive, warm and organic overtones and flexibility that lets you dial in the right tone for the right guitar. "The V18 compares favorably or even exceeds the tone of the amps that inspired it..." said the said the Vintage Guitar Magazine review.
Please be in complete agreement with your wife before buying it...
Powered by 2x EL84 tubes
Characteristic of Class A amplifiers, the dual EL84 tubes deliver the much coveted Low-Gain overdrive which is distinct from the "hi-gain" amps that have it formed in that preamp tubes instead. The result is a pure mud-free overdrive with its rich overtones (even-order) that gets fatter by every notch on the Volume dial.

"Cool thing is that I can use an A/B switch to go from Bright to Normal at any time just like having two amps. But I DON'T have two amps. I have one amp that is very, very lightweight and portable. And soooooo pretty. It's like looking at a formula one race car." [read more]
