a road case for this V18 Combo! This case houses your 1x12",
2x12" horisontal speaker cabinets and same size combos as well.
Each case is lined with ½ inch heavy duty rubberized foam
material and includes 5 panels of additional standard case foam to
customize your fit as needed.
Sound Bites
(they really do!)
Please note that these clips do not and cannot represent the
amp's tone accurately since there are so many constants that affect the
recorded tone from the speaker cabinet to your computer speakers.
The amp tone actually sounds thousands times better if heard live.
These are here only to give you a hint of what they amps actually
sounds like. Sort of like the roasting garlic aroma coming from the
kitchen that sits around the roast. Sorry, vegetarians, I really do not
have a more appropiate example for you... :-)

Booster. Light to mid OD boost pedal. Gain on the pedal
is set at about 3.5, but volume is just over unity. I'm using it more
as an OD than a boost.

Gabriel V18 Guitar Amp Combo
Social bookmark to:
The guitar amp combo version of the famed V18 gives you the opportunity of
having to go only once to your car to unload. The same Class "A"
British-style all tubed, hand wired, point-to-point, resurecting a well
known tone but at a fraction of its original price.
Living in a cozy, beautiful enclosure, the Gabriel
V18 Guitar Amp Combo comes in a 2x12" (57 lbs) or 1x12" (40
lbs) speaker configuration.
I decided to use exclusivly Celestion guitar speakers,
precisely the Blue and the Greenback since they bring out that specific
organic character I am after. Be that in a 2x12" guitar amp
combo combination using a Greenback and a AlNiCo Blue or a
1x12" using the AlNiCo Blue or the Greenback.
"The V18 compares favorably or even
exceeds the tone of the amps that inspired it..." said the Vintage Guitar Magazine review.
Please be in complete agreement with your wife before buying it...
Powered by 2x
EL84 tubes
Characteristic to Class A amplifiers,
the dual EL84
tubes deliver the much coveted overdrive wich is distinct from the
"hi-gain" amps that have it formed in that preamp tubes instead. The
result is a pure mud-free overdrive with its rich overtones
(even-order)
that gets fatter by every notch on the Volume dial.
